1. Purpose of the ACBA

The ACBA exists to promote, improve, preserve, and educate the public about the Ayam Cemani breed through ethical breeding practices, education, community involvement, and support of the breed’s continued advancement in the United States.

Membership in the ACBA does not guarantee breeding quality, show results, sales success, or endorsement by the organization unless explicitly stated.

2. Membership Terms

By purchasing an ACBA membership, you agree to:

  • Conduct yourself respectfully within the ACBA community
  • Follow all applicable ACBA bylaws, codes of conduct, and ethical breeding standards
  • Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding poultry ownership, transport, and sales

Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

The ACBA reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships at its discretion for violations of these Terms, unethical conduct, harassment, fraud, misrepresentation, or actions deemed harmful to the organization or breed community.

3. Breeder Directory Disclaimer

Inclusion in the ACBA Breeder Directory does not constitute certification, guarantee, endorsement, or warranty by the ACBA.

Breeders listed on this website are independently owned and operated. Buyers are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence prior to purchasing birds, eggs, chicks, or related products.

The ACBA is not responsible for:

  • Transactions between buyers and breeders
  • Shipping outcomes
  • Bird quality or health
  • Hatch rates
  • Genetic outcomes
  • Financial disputes
  • Misrepresentation by individual breeders

NPIP compliance and interstate shipping requirements remain the sole responsibility of the breeder.

4. Educational Content

All articles, resources, breed information, graphics, photographs, videos, and educational materials provided on this site are intended for informational and educational purposes only.

While the ACBA strives to provide accurate and current information, we make no guarantees regarding completeness, accuracy, or suitability for individual breeding programs or management decisions.
